Biography
Tiffany Lewis is a native Arizonan with a life-long love of the ocean. While earning a bachelors degree in Conservation Biology from ASU, she studied the demography of California sea lions in the Gulf of California. For lab experience, Tiffany worked in the Biodesign Institute studying the use of plant vectors for vaccine delivery. She earned a masters degree in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she researched Caribbean sponge ecology and physiology in the Florida Keys and throughout the Bahamas. Tiffany earned a second masters degree from The University of California Davis in Integrative Ecology with an emphasis in Ecotoxicology, where she focused on toxicants in fresh water and marine systems. Her PhD program continues with a focus in Ecotoxicology.
